I sorted through all 250 pictures and here are a few collages of the grain tower demo.

Favorite outdoor activity
We have had some very nice days in the last month and because of that, the kids are spending a ton of time outside, mostly riding bikes and on the tramp.
These were taken about an hour before they all got free haircuts at Drake's school.
Hmm. looks like the date and time are a little off. Better go fix that in the camera. You can also get a fairly good look at the pre-noodle trampoline mat in all it's glory.

| See all those tumbleweeds by the shed? They were blown in from somewhere and were all behind the shed. That wasn't even all of them, either. |
| Even with a better camera, there are still too many blurry shots of Konnor. He is always on that move; what are we to do? |

Big building go BOOM!!!
Actually, it kinda just fell over, but it was still really cool to watch! Enjoy!
The camera didn't focus right, so I missed the sound of the charges going off, but just know that it was very loud and everyone jumped:) If you watch closely, the building smashes a couple of trees on the right.
This video is taking forever to upload, so I will do another post with some of the pictures. I say some because I took quite a few and Lot took 214, almost continuous shots. There will probably be a few of all the vehicles parked everywhere to watch.

Sleeping sickies
When the kids were sick a few weeks ago, I came home from work and found 2 kids on the couch like this:
I love that our couch is now big enough for the kids to do this. That is my favorite spot, the chaise.

Jumping noodles
So, we have a trampoline and on this trampoline, there is a mat covering the springs. Due to some scissor action by the kids, a very cold winter, the Idaho wind, and kids (did I mention kids?), the mat was carted off to the dump.
We needed something to cover the springs and it had to be inexpensive. A new mat was out of the question. Do you know how expensive a decent one of those is? It is outrageous! For $15 and using my bread knife, we have a new "mat:"
Yep! We used pool noodles from the dollar store. There are 96 springs and each noodle is about 7 inches long.
A few have to be put on all the time, mostly the ones by the chair the kids use to get up and down. It sure beats having torn pink foam pieces all over the yard and an ugly, torn mat with hardly any padding on it.
Even if we have to replace all the noodles each year, $15 is much better than $130-$150 every other year for a new mat. Plus, it looks better and gives the yard some color:)

Sickies
We have had bad colds making the rounds with the kids, yet again. They were fine for the baptism, but that night, it got worse. Chloe took 2! naps on Saturday and still fell asleep earlier than normal. I am a mean mom and made the younger 2 stay home from church and Drake just went for Sacrament meeting. Chloe wanted to watch a show and I walk in a few minutes later and see this:
They both had milk and I was hoping that they would fall asleep. It worked for Little Miss Chloe, but not for Whirlwind Konnor.
I also see that I need to fix the time and date on our camera:) It is not the end of January, although the time was right.

Baptism
Since Drake turned 8 in February (sorry, I have not idea where the pictures are that we took), he had the opportunity to be baptized yesterday, March 1st. I am glad that we had a friend take the pictures before we started, because I forgot to get any after.
This is the best we could do with Chloe, her evil overlord face. At least she wasn't screaming, right?
