Why I Hate Spring

The kids played outside today and they decided to go through the fence to the really muddy area where I specifically told them NOT to go. I also told Drake that he had to wear his older shoes, not his BRAND NEW ONES!!! Guess what they heard? Blah, Blah, Blah, MUD! They were covered in it and tracked it in the house all the way to the bathroom where I threw them in the shower, after I removed all traces of mud from just about every surface in the bathroom, including the shower curtain and toilet. Mommy and Daddy are NOT happy right now.
