A couple of weeks ago, Drake was vacuuming the house when the vacuum started to smoke quit a bit. Since it is 6 years old and not worth much anymore, we decided that it was not worth it to fix (anywhere from $50-$200), and bought a new vacuum.

I could not bribe Chloe to clean up the dining room, but when I told her that she could vacuum, she promptly picked the room up and proceeded to vacuum to her hearts content.

In what universe is it an acceptable bribe to get to vacuum?! In our universe, apparently:)

*Update: The kids cleaned their rooms last night and begged to vacuum them again. You won't here any complaining from me if they "need" to clean their rooms so that they can vacuum.
