These are really, really hard to make, but so worth it. Ready? First, take your favorite roll recipe, pinch off about a walnut sized piece of dough and roll it out. Then, fill it!
These freeze really well. Well, just as long as you DO NOT USE Rhoades brand of dough. I did. ONCE. The dough wasn't thick enough. When we went to heat some up in the microwave, the dough almost seemed to turn doughy again. They were really soggy. Even if you make the dough in your breadmaker, it will still turn out well.
Just watch out for little fingers that reach up for some dough. (Anyone else's kids eat bread dough by the handful?)
